Introduction

Software development has fascinated me every since I got my Commodore Vic 20 (well the older school computers as well before personal computers came along but I don't want to sound too old!), The creative and challenging aspects never cese to keep me interested. After spending a good time working for various large companies, I've now decided that freelance is the most challenging and interesting but mostly gratifying, when it comes to helping new companies go online, as well as participating in new creative challenges.

Having used many software development languages, on many machines, all the way from low level to communications and specializing then in telecommunications, meanwhile the web was evolving and these technologies wanted to combine. Then I took on a whole new direction, object oriented framework development, SmallTalk, which lead me back towards telecommunications and custom frameworks for the telecommunications industry's fault tolerant systems. Then more and more towards web development only to abandon MS products for the limitations and concentrate on Unix based. Then Java, PHP, C++, MySQL, etc... the list just goes on, I guess I could claim that I'm the mutt of the software industry if I could ever put a definition to my career.
