For a lot of students out there, the library is the last place they want to go to get their schoolwork and reading done. Many of us like to look for cafés with a good ambience where we can get internet access, a coffee, and work at our own pace.

This community is designed to outline some great cafés, as suggested by students themselves. These cafés are in walking or biking distance from McGill campus, and are often a great alternative for getting good work done.

Cafés are separated according to their location along the toolbar. Once you choose your desired destination (delineated by zone), you can choose your café based on the other variables listed. Be sure to click on the descriptive chart for each cafe to enlarge it and see it better!
