We provide the website, www.xoopla.com to you (the “Website”) as your go-to community for finding and making great referrals and recommendations to other users (the “Services”). Your privacy is important to us so this privacy policy provides important information about how we collect, store, use and distribute information about our users. Consent

Personal and Non-Personal Information.

Only Personal Information is governed by this Privacy Policy and you agree that we are not subject to any restrictions in respect of our use or disclosure of Non-Personal Information (such as anonymised data or IP addresses) which we collect as a result of your use of the Website and/or the Services.
Collection and Use of Information
We collect and use Personal Information for the main purpose of providing the Website and the Services to you. More specifically, we use your information for identification and authentication purposes, for service improvement and to address issues like malicious use of the Services. We may also use information received through the Website to manage your account and to advise you about current and future services. In order to access the Services and certain sections of the Website3, you will be required to become a registered user by filling out an electronic registration form which will require your name, email address and other optional information such as your date of birth, place of birth, current location, postal address, cellular number and any other information you to decide to provide to us or that you include on your personalized page on the Website if you choose to have one.

We also provide notifications for the activities you engage in n the Website such as unsubscribing, registration confirmations, notifications of new private messages, confirmation of account setting changes and notification of new contacts. System Logs.
We record information, like your IP address and the pages you’ve requested, on our system logs from your browser and through the use of cookies. Your IP address is reported by your web browser whenever you visit a page on the Website. This information is recorded together with your registration information on our databases.
We use this to:

Site Content.
We may distribute your reviews and other content posted on the Website to third parties, as permitted pursuant to our Terms of Service. You understand that your reviews may identify you and/or link back to your account on Xoopla.
Disclosures and Transfers
We may share your Personal Information with our parent company, subsidiaries, joint ventures, or other companies under a common control (collectively, "Affiliates") that we may have now or in the future, in which case we will require them to honor the terms of this Privacy Policy.

Third Party Services. From time to time we may employ trusted third parties to help us manage and improve the Website and Services. We use this information to contact and, if necessary, remind that person about the invitation. By providing us with another person's e-mail address, you represent to us that you have obtained the consent of the person concerned as regards such disclosure to us of their personal information. All invitees are provided with the option not to receive further invitations. We may disclose such information if required to do so in order to comply with legal process, as described above.

The Website and Services, including user pages, may include links to third party websites. We have no control over third party websites and the provision of links in no way constitutes an endorsement, authorization or representation of our connection to that third party. If you access third party sites using the links on the Website, you should read the privacy policies of those sites and be aware that they may follow different rules regarding the use or disclosure of your Personal Information.

Amendment of this Policy

Access and Accuracy
You have the right to access the Personal Information we hold about you in order to verify the accuracy of that information. You can access a copy of the information we hold about you by going into your account on the Website. If you make a written request to us to provide further details of what Personal Information we hold about you, we will provide you with a copy of your Personal Information. You can change your own information at any time using the account preferences link once logged into the Website. You can also delete your Xoopla account at any time from your account page however some identification and contact information will remain in our records (see Retention below).
Retention
We will keep your Personal Information for as long as it remains necessary for the operation of the Website and Services or as required by law, which may extend beyond the termination of our relationship with you. In general, once you inform us that you no longer wish to use the Website or Services, we will delete your records from our systems as soon as we can.
