1.      Where are you getting married and when? 

 

Lake Geneva, WI (The Grand Geneva Resort) on May 28th, 2011.

 

2.       How many guests have you invited?

 

We will probably have around 150 guests.

 

3.       What is your budget? 

 

We don't have an exact number we're trying to stay within, but probably at or under $30k.

 

4.       What is important for you to have on your wedding day?

 

What's important to me is really nice lighting and flowers at the reception. (ie. pin lighting and a few tall sprays of flowers on every other table).  I also want to create something that my guests will definitely remember.  (ie. possibly a customized flip book for each guest)

 

5.       Where did you look for information when you first got started?

 

The Knot.com, StyleMePretty.com

 

6.       Which vendors did you go with and why?

 

The Grand Geneva (still researching all others).

 

7.       Where did you look for your wedding dress and why made you pick the one you did?

 

Haven't picked one yet.

 

8.       If you could give an advice to someone that just starting to plan their wedding, what would it be?

 

Pay attention to the vendors that respond to you right away vs. the ones that wait to get back to you.  That slow response rate could carry over to the day of your wedding!
